Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser FAQ

Flock ’em all!

The Flamingo Flocks are a large fund raiser for Project Graduation. The flocks pay for the rental of Main Event for the entire night.

Wouldn’t it be great if EVERY SENIOR got flocked? That is the goal of the Mother Flockers who watch over the flocks. Thanks for donating!

How do I evict the Flock?

There are several ways to evict the flock. Once you decide what works best for you, visit our fundraising storefront, pick an option and make the corresponding donation:

How do I keep these birds away for good?

Purchase the Evict/Fly/Insure Option for $75. This is the most popular option! Keep those pesky pink birds out of your yard permanently. This option helps us keep the flock moving and continue to raise money for PG.  With this donation, we will evict the flock, send it to the recipient of your choice and the flock insurance, ensures the flock will not return to you.

Can my organization sponsor Project Graduation?

Yes! Visit our sponsorships storefront to be a Sponsor of the event.

Thank you to our Flock Sponsors — We are sold out of the infamous traveling Project Graduation Flamingo Flocks! Only 8 of these special sponsorships were available. The sponsors’ flocks will include a yard sign spotlighting their organization.

How else can I donate to project graduation?

Go to our donation page and make a donation amount of your choice.

Why was an additional fee added to my purchase?

Project Graduation uses the Zeffy Platform to collect donations. Zeffy is the only fundraising tool that ensures 100% of your payment goes to Grapevine High School Project Graduation. While, Zeffy gives Grapevine High School Project Graduation 100% of the donations you make, Zeffy is funded solely through contributions made by supporters like you. Zeffy automatically adds a fee to your order to support the Zeffy Planform. You can modify this fee to make a donation in the amount of your choice.

Who are the Flockers?

Our student volunteers, generally in small teams, will quietly and quickly (unless they are laughing too hard) set up the flamingos in your yard. Those same volunteers will return in 1 or 2 days* to evict the flock out of your yard and into someone else’s. If you get to visit with the flamingos for only 24 hours THIS IS A GOOD THING! That means lots of people are sending our feathered friends around Grapevine and Colleyville and we are growing our pile of $ for Project Graduation!

Our volunteers get Volunteer Hours for wrangling the flamingos.

Why hasn’t my person been Flocked yet?

Well, because there are a fixed number of flocks and a large area for them to cover. The flamingo is known for being more than a little flighty. Be patient with them. They are well worth the wait and they won’t leave anyone hanging.
